Information You Submit
A name, phone number, or address entered in a search form goes to the third-party provider that supplies results. Middletown Residents Directory does not retain a copy of those search terms. If you contact us, we receive the contents of your message and use them to respond.
Automatic Technical Data
Hosting systems keep routine server information, such as an IP address, browser type, visited pages, and timestamps. We review that information in aggregate for security, operation, and general traffic understanding. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics and advertising measurement where used.
How Data Is Used
We use limited technical data to run the service, address faults, understand traffic, and improve content. We do not sell visitor lists or create individual user profiles.
Outside Links and Tools
Links may lead to county or state records portals, library collections, archives, and third-party search tools. The destination's privacy policy governs information submitted there, including information entered into sponsored search results supplied by another company.
Service Providers and Disclosure
Hosting and support providers process relevant logs for us. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the automatic information described above. We disclose information only when valid legal process requires it or as otherwise required by law.
Safeguards
The site uses an encrypted connection, and logs are retained only for the operational purposes described here. There are no user accounts, passwords, or visitor profiles maintained by this site.
Visitors Under 18
This service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. If you believe a minor has provided information, contact us so it can be removed.
Requests About Your Data
Depending on the law that applies where you live, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data a service keeps about you. Ohio has no broad general consumer-privacy deletion statute for ordinary public records; the Ohio Data Protection Act, ORC Chapter 1354, is a cybersecurity safe-harbor law, not a public-record removal right. Because this site keeps very little, a request normally means reviewing the contact mailbox and relevant logs. Use the Contact page. A record held by an Ohio state, county, or city custodian must be addressed to that custodian.
Policy Changes
Changes to this policy will appear here. Continued use after posting means that you accept the revised policy.
